In an attempt to educate and dissuade drivers from getting behind the wheel drunk; Michigan authorities put a previously wrecked vehicle on display at a high school. Ironically the same vehicle was again hit by a drunk driver - point proven.
The West Bloomfield Patch reports that a 37-year-old Harrison man, was traveling south on Orchard Lake Road at around 5 a.m., when his vehicle crossed traffic lanes, hit a sign, a utility pole and the wrecked car.

After the vehicle landed in the high school parking lot, Diamond said, the driver and passenger, a 27-year-old Farwell woman, ran away. She was taken into custody within an hour, but the driver eluded police for several hours before he was captured at around 1 p.m.
Both were taken to an area hospital for treatment of injuries.
