Emma Watson nude photo leak appears to be a prank - on top of a prank

The nude photo leak threat targeting Emma Watson earlier this week turned out to be a viral marketing stunt by "Rantic Marketing" Rantic claims to want to shut down the website 4chan but they might also be a hoax.
It seems silly because they want the President to censor the internet. Anything’s possible but this one is tough to believe.
Their website reads:
"DEAR BARACK OBAMA,
We have been hired by celebrity publicists to bring this disgusting issue to attention. The recent 4chan celebrity nude leaks in the past 2 months have been an invasion of privacy and is also clear indication that the internet NEEDS to be censored. Every Facebook like, share & Twitter mention will count as a social signature -- and will be one step closer to shutting down www.4chan.org.
Sincerely,
Rantic.com"
Time will tell. We have seen strange things from Hollywood before but Rantic claims to be "a social media marketing enterprise that has participated in some of the most viral campaigns and music videos."
If so, then well played. You lived up to your "who we are."
