Facebook Home Details. Does Anyone Really Care?

I don’t think I have ever seen so much hype, especially from the “media” about this Facebook Home. First, everyone predicted it wrong since it essentially ends up just being a different way to use Facebook to connect everything on your phone, you know, like it already does. There is no Facebook operating system (thank God) or even one planned. The exception is the HTC First, which is a new smartphone specifically built with Facebook Home in mind. In other words, it has the apps already installed. Yay! Facebook Home is essentially a family of apps that can run on any Android device ignoring about 50% of the market including iPhone, Windows Phone and even Blackberry.

I was going to ignore this whole thing but here are the basics and some videos about it. Frankly, I would like to see the Facebook app actually work right before they start making more apps. Also, while Facebook is nice to stay in touch with friends, it can be too much sometimes so I personally don’t care and will pass on all of it. Oh, wait - I have an iPhone so I don’t have a choice 

Lucky me!

I would love to be in the office watching everyone high fiving themselves over making more buggy Facebook apps. It’s too much guys.
