Facebook issues apology for blocking mother from page

Facebook has issued an apology to a mother who was blocked from her pro breast feeding page, and had pictures removed from the site.

Kristy Kemp runs the page called Breast Feeding Mama Talk which has about 5000 likes, the page is used as a
breastfeeding support page and frequently posts pictures of mothers breast feeding.

Kemp noticed first off that pictures had been removed from the site , and then subsequently she was banned. Facebook does have a policy regarding the posting of such types of pictures: Breastfeeding images are allowed, images where a breast is fully exposed and the child isn't actively nursing are not.

According to KGO-TV in San Francisco Kemp said "It's not right," "I'm trying to do good for mothers and I'm getting kicked off for posting pictures one of the most beautiful acts a mother can do for her kid, and it's not right."
