Facebook to finally simplify privacy settings for its users

As someone known to be a bit geeky people would assume I can easily find all my Facebook privacy settings and simply set everything up as I want but in truth it is not that easy. I suspect that most Facebook users have difficulty finding these settings as well and it should not be this way. Reuters is reporting that Facebook is working on this now:

"Facebook is making it easier for users to control who sees their information, and to have more say over the photographs they appear in, as the world's No. 1 social networking service seeks to assuage privacy concerns.

The changes will enable Facebook's 750 million users to quickly access and modify their privacy settings each time they share information on the online network, rather than forcing them to click through various specialized sections of the website."

In our opinion Facebook is doing everything they can to make sure they hold onto their users with the power of Google and their upcoming social networking site, Google +. Not that we need another social networking site...
