Facebook to start mobile advertisements by March

According to Reuters and the Financial Times, Facebook is poised to begin showing advertisements on mobile devices before its $5 billion public offering.

Facebook has already been in discussions with advertising agencies to used “Featured Stories” to tap into the revenue that is being missed by the mobile market. This information comes from “several people familiar with the plan”.

You should expect to see these advertisements by March and the IPO in May.
