Fight between teens gets father hit with child abuse charges (Video)

Charges have been filed against a Satellite Beach, FL., father for his role in the beating of a teen; the whole incident was caught on video and began with the dad, among others, egging 2 teens on during a fight.

That in itself is bad enough, however when Carl Nicks, 51, decides to jump in when his son starts to lose all bets are off.



According to Click Orlando police said Nicks was among the people encouraging the boys to fight. The video shows Nicks grab the teen by the back off his shirt after his son is seen grappling on the ground and being defeated in the fight. The video also shows the father grabbing the other child by the throat and punching the teen at least twice.

A woman was able to pull Nicks off the teen and lead him away.

Police arrested Nicks for child abuse and contributing to the delinquency of a minor.
