Recently I got to take my first ocean fishing trip. We went out 25 miles and it was beautiful out there. It was peaceful, quiet and the water was absolutely gorgeous. It was also a bit boring. Somehow smoking meth seems like a really bad idea. Frederick Cunningham, 38 of Charlotte County, Florida would disagree.
According to ABC 7 his boat was stopped for a safety check and undersized fish were spotted. At that point he was busted for a violation of probation as well as undersized fish and the complete boat inspection began.
When deputies checked the boat, they found a container with a zip-locked bag containing residue and a smoking pipe. Both items tested positive for methamphetamine presence.
Cunningham was charged with possession of methamphetamine, possession of paraphernalia, violation of probation and failure to release an undersized food fish.
They also threw in expired boat charges and why not a warning for not having flares?
