Are you unable to use Avast due to a corrupt files found error? Here's how to fix it.
Often times this is a conflict with another anti-virus program. Check and be sure that you are not running more than one anti-virus.
If you are not, then you might consider uninstalling Avast and re-installing it. To remove it completely try using Avast Software Uninstall Utility.
You could also consider an uninstaller like Iobit Uninstaller and be sure to do a 'deep scan' after removal.
Once finished, you might still receive an error that Windows Resource Protection reports some files are still corrupted in which case do another check for corrupt system files and try to repair them by following these steps:
Click on the Start Button
Chose "Run"
Type into the box: sfc /scannow
Click "OK"
