Fixing the Windows 8.1 faded or blurry font

If you have a problem with Windows 8.1, or other versions, where the font appears to be blurry, faded or running, here is a possible solution.


Go to:

Control Panel > Appearance and Personalization > Display (DPI settings)

Uncheck "Let me choose one scaling level on all my displays"

Click Ok.

Your problem might look like this:



If that fails, consider updating your video drivers with the free Driver Booster.
