A Florida senior citizen took the "20 items or less" rule to the extreme after he noticed a motorized shopping cart bound man not following the extremely important Walmart rule.
The altercation started out as a shouting match but quickly escalated into a physical assault. The suspect, according to what the victim told police, actually took the time to count the items on the belt and determined that there were over 20.
According to the report obtained by Fox News, William Golladay, 77, from Punta Gorda, which is north of Fort Myers, got into a shouting match with the other shopper, identified in police reports as a 65-year-old in a motorized shopping cart, and allegedly went back to his own metal shopping cart and intentionally rammed the cart into the alleged victim, injuring the man's arm.
Golladay was escorted out of the store, then later was arrested on felony battery charges.
