Police arrested 2 men in Marion county after a jailhouse tipster alerted them to an alleged plot to attack police and a church with RPG's and missiles. The cache was supposedly being stored in a shed behind a residence.
Police raided the shed based on that tip and uncovered a cache of weapons, body armor, drugs and drug paraphernalia.
According to MyFoxOrlando, after obtaining a search warrant, deputies said they discovered 22 firearms, several containers of black powder, over a pound of marijuana, powder and crack cocaine, prescription pills, scales, 2 bullet proof vests, and other drug paraphernalia.
"There was no rocket propelled grenade launcher," added Lt. Brian Dotten. "We did locate a few devices that could be some type of pressure switch were working with ATF unit to try to confirm that." Christopher Michael Conger, 32, and Jeremy Montrell Robertson, 29 were found inside the shed and promptly arrested on multiple charges which include; possession of marijuana/cocaine with intent to distribute and grand theft of a firearm, possession of a bullet proof vest during a drug offense among various others.
The two are suspected to have targeted police due to recent 'run ins' with department personnel.
