Florida Friday: Burglar Beaten by Own Bat (Video)

A couple in North Port knocked the ball out of the park by overpowering a burglar inside their home.

They were able to disarm him and then the man 'bear-hugged' him while the woman strolled up to the plate and swung away at his head.

Noah Dassat, 33, was able to eventually escape and make his way over the fence and to the hospital. Police caught up with him there and noted he had significant injuries to his head.

He was arrested on multiple felonies. Word has it the Tampa Bay Rays are now scouting the homeowner.
