Technology. We love it and we really love it when it’s used to bust criminals but sometimes it does the job for you.
David Ricky Fanuelsen, 39, and Dean Ellis Brown, 22, are accused of stealing three saws from their employer, Concrete Solutions in the Florida Keys.
They almost got away with it until one of them accidentally butt dialed the employers office and it went to voicemail as they discussed taking the saws to a pawn shop.
Of course, as you and I know, once they pawned the items they would have to sit for 30 days until it is determined that the items are not stolen so all this did was speed up the process.
They each face a felony grand theft charge. As of Friday afternoon, both were held in county jail in Key West, each on a $10,000 bond.
