Reliford Cooper II, was pulled over in Palmetto, Florida after a Manatee Sheriff's deputy noticed his vehicle traveling at a high rate of speed as well as blowing through a stop sign.

The deputy and Cooper were involved in a small chase, with Cooper driving through ditches ultimately ending with a crash into a residential home. According to News10, after the crash, Cooper, 26, jumped out of the car and ran off through the neighborhood. Deputies caught him inside a church - parishioners assisted by outing him from his hiding place.
While police were putting Cooper in handcuffs, he claimed he wasn't driving the car and that his dog was driving the car and he ran because he wanted to. He then proceeded to throw up.
Cooper was charged with several traffic violations, property damage DWI, and fleeing. Oh, and driving with a suspended license. The dog did not get charged and was told to take a walk...
