Florida Friday: Crossing guard needs a crossing guard (Video)

The most important rules for being a crossing guard - look both ways and do not run into traffic.

According to ABC Action News, Clearwater police say because the driver had the green light and stopped to help, it appears the accident is not his fault. He was shaken and needed an ambulance to check him at the scene.

Within minutes of the accident, paramedics had the crossing guard on the way to the hospital.



The guard has been hospitalized but is expected to make a full recovery.
