A man in Jacksonville claims that his dog shot his sleeping girlfriend.... Dog will hunt.
The story unfolds like this, the man let his dog, Deisel, outside after a critter woke them up. When the duo returned to the house Deisel b-lined for the bedroom where the girlfriend was sleeping.
The man tells police at this time the room was totallybark dark. He then heard a bang and found his girlfriend with a gunshot wound.
The man believes that Deisel jumped up onto the nightstand where his gun was and somehow discharged the weapon. Safety? The woman was taken to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries - the investigation continues.
