Carl Blahnik, 59, took a joyride about midnight last Tuesday when he allegedly dumped boulders at the north end of the 7-mile bridge in the Florida Keys. He then headed south, topping out around 13 mph, and nearly made it to the other end of mile marker 40 with police in tow recording it all.
His apparent reason for the adventure: Slowing other motorists down.
"He apparently was saying something about people driving too fast. He wasn't really too coherent," Herrin said.
Herrin said Blahnik was carrying a Wisconsin identification card and that he might be homeless, living in woods near Coco Plum Beach at the other end of town.
