Florida Friday: Man Driving Motorized Wheelchair Arrested for DUI

Ronny Scott Hicks, 54, was arrested by police while crossing a bridge in Palm Bay. He was driving a motorized wheelchair or better said parking in it the travel lanes.
Police said that Hicks was blocking multiple lanes of travel on a bridge and that he smelled strongly of alcohol. Police also state that he refused to take any field sobriety tests as well as medical attention for the mystery head injury.
Hicks was booked on felony DUI charges and held on $5,000 bond according to the Brevard County Court.
