A man was shot and injured by police in Orlando after he raised a BB gun and fired in their direction. This is where common sense takes over for most and is a glaring example of exactly what not to do - but it happened at Walmart - in Florida, so there ya go!
According to WFTV 9, officers initially responded to the Walmart after receiving a complaint from a man claiming to have been shot in the arm by a man with a BB gun, the department said in a news release.
The victim told investigators that the man walked up to him while he was loading groceries into his truck and opened fire with the BB gun.
The alleged shooter walked into the store and made a purchase before walking back into the parking lot and firing the BB gun at two other customers and parked vehicles.
The man left on foot but was confronted by an officer, the suspect raised the very realistic BB gun shooting it towards the officer. At this point, the officer returned fire hitting and wounding the man.
Sadly this is the same Walmart where OPD Lt. Debra Clayton was shot and killed back in January.
