This good deed saved the life of a dog left in a hot vehicle while the owners shopped and resulted in missing teeth, fat lips and a stay at the kennel for bad humans.
A woman and her son saw a dog inside a closed up truck foaming at the mouth due to the heat - no cracked windows at all - so they opened the apparently unlocked door and got the dog out and proceeded to go store to store looking for the owner. Instead, Kendra Smith, 27, found them and turned out to be a total raving lunatic who called her accomplice in for touching their dog. Jalamb Trinney, 25, came on to the scene and promptly beat up the good samaritan and her son. Nice.
Officers found the son on the ground, both he and his mother had blood coming from their nostrils and mouths, and the mother had one of her teeth knocked out according to the police report.
Smith and Trinney, who are brother and sister, were arrested and charged with battery. No mention in the original article about the fate of the dog. Hopefully it gets taken away from them...
