Florida Friday: Semi-Armed Robbers Arrested

Armed robbery is a serious offense. That fact is not lost even when your weapon of choice is only the lower half of an AR-15 - but hey they had LOTS of ammunition - some even for that gun part.

The culprits, in this case, are Seabreeze High School students. The well-planned plot was interrupted when other students overheard one of the bumbling-bandits say "he had a gun and was planning to raid a closed hotel." Have a feeling these two will grace Florida Friday at a later date!

When the officer looked into the student's green backpack, the following items were discovered:

A lower portion of an AR-15;
Two 30-round magazines;
1 10-round magazine;
29 12-gauge shotgun rounds.



The upper portion of the weapon was found in the bedroom of one of the boys.

The two underage students face disciplinary action from the school and as of this writing, no formal charges have been filed against the duo.
