Florida Friday: Senior Citizens, Kool-Aid and Assault

Posted by: Timothy Tibbetts on 02/10/2017 05:56 AM [ comments Comments ]

A 73-year-old woman who apparently threw a bucket of cherry Kool-Aid on a man 13 years her senior narrowly avoided a trip to jail, according to a report from TCPalm.

The victim said the 73-year-old woman started yelling at him for smiling at her. He said the 73-year-old woman got a bucket “and threw red water on him.”

She told a deputy that the victim and his friend “smiled at her and she knows that they did it in a malicious manner.”

She said the victim “is always the one causing trouble for her so she threw the Kool-Aid on him,” the report states.

No charges were filed.

Believe it or not, Kool-Aid was also involved in a tragedy in the past year over two people arguing over which flavor is best. Hint: It all tastes the same.
