A mango sitting in the middle of the road was at the center of a shooting that took place in Lee County.

A man and woman told the Lee County Sheriff’s Office that they were driving in their truck, spotted the fruit in the middle of the road and stopped to pick it up. That's when the real fruit of this story, Josefina Tometich, 64, appeared and threatened to shoot the man. Smartly, the man jumped back in the truck and left.
Then, according to AJC.com, the couple stopped at a nearby intersection down the road, that's when the truck’s back window shattered and Tometich was seen walking behind the vehicle with a firearm that looked like a rifle. From the report, it seems she is a pretty good shot.
Deputy's only found a pellet gun during a search of Tometich's home which is thought to be the mango freedom fighter's weapon of choice.
She was arrested and later released on a $7,500 bond.
