There is that awkward moment when you borrow a computer from your landlord only to find naked pictures of yourself stored in a file labelled "porn." I guess this answers the question of what that little red light was.
According to the police report obtained by the Sun-Sentinel the woman found the images stashed in a computer file labeled "Porn," along with sexually explicit recordings of teenage girls and nude images of girls as young as 7.
As a result, William Anthony Raber, 27, has been charged with one felony count of video voyeurism and 17 child pornography charges. He is being held at the Paul Rein Detention Facility in Pompano Beach.
Raber admitted to using a small, generic black camera to record videos of the tenant and to downloading the child porn images, the police report says.
The woman, whose name and age have been redacted from the police report, rented a room from Raber and his wife in the 6000 block of Northwest 68th Terrace in mid-April.
Her $350-a-month rent included a bedroom, cable, Internet and use of the laundry room and kitchen. Her bedroom did not have a key lock and could be locked only from the inside, the report says.
Raber's wife, the tenant's former manager, had given the woman permission to use her laptop, the police report says.
But when the tenant was unable to connect to the Internet on Raber's wife's laptop on Aug. 7, she switched to Raber's desktop computer.
