A man in West Palm Beach takes his yam growing serious - serious enough to assault someone for digging them up.
Jeromey McCook, 32, was arrested and charged with aggravated assault, battery, possession of a firearm during a felony and discharging a firearm in public. McCook noticed someone digging up his prized yams which were growing along a fence line. McCook approached the digger and requested he stop - he didn't and the two began to argue.
McCook pistol whipped and then shot between the man's legs causing him to drop a potato I'm sure!
A neighbor heard the scuffle but thought nothing of it and returned to cooking...
They must be AWESOME yams, man.
