Gmail Adds Undo Send Feature

This is a great feature, as I have hit the dreaded 'reply all' button or the wrong name entirely forwarding an off color joke to an entire department of a financial institution or to someones not-so-amused spouse. If you have experienced that pit in your stomach feeling after hitting send then this will buy you some time to take back that email message.
Gizmodo points out that Gmail has actually offered this experimental feature for some time now. Six years, in fact. But today it’s officially a regular part of Gmail.

To activate the Undo feature - simply go to the settings cog in Gmail, select general, and scroll down about mid-way and enable it (make sure to save the changes). You get to choose either 5,10,20, or 30 second time intervals before the message is sent.

To use it is just as simple, simply click on the Undo link at the top of the page, it will notify that it is undoing the send and when complete will display the original message - so you can not reply to all or at least edit the message.
