Two US firms, Google and Facebook, were scammed, between 2013-2015, by a Lithuanian man who took them for $100 million.
Judge Aiva Surviliene said: "The court has ruled in favour of extraditing Lithuanian citizen Evaldas Rimasauskas to the United States for criminal prosecution."
Rimasauskas, a 48-year-old, was arrested in the Baltic state at the request of U.S. authorities. He scammed the internet giants by posing as an Asia-based hardware vendor.
US prosecutors released a statement in which they said Rimasauskas used "email accounts that were designed to create the false appearance that they were sent by employees and agents" of the Asian manufacturer.
He scammed the companies by creating forging invoices, contracts and letters to trick the companies out of the money. Instructions included directions to wire transfer the money to accounts under his control.
"We detected this fraud against our vendor management team and promptly alerted the authorities," a Google spokesman told AFP.
"We recouped the funds and we're pleased this matter is resolved."
Facebook has not commented on this story.
If convicted, Rimasauskas could face 20 years in jail according to the judge.
