Google executive, Forrest Timothy Hayes was killed by a shot of heroin onboard his yacht in Santa Cruz, CA., by a call girl; the two met online and had allegedly carried on a loose relationship before the November 26 incident which ultimately claimed his life.
According to KSAT, police found the man, later identified as Hayes, dead aboard a boat in Santa Cruz's small craft harbor on Nov. 23, 2013. Investigators say they identified 26-year-old Alix Tichleman, of Folsom, as someone the 51-year-old victim had an "ongoing prostitution relationship" with.
Tichleman was reportedly a high-priced, outcall prostitute. Police say she bragged of having more than 200 client relationships.
Tichelman provided heroin for Hayes while they were inside the yacht, according to what police told the San Jose Mercury News. A surveillance video from the boat shows that Hayes was "suffering medical complications" and lost consciousness, Santa Cruz Deputy Police Chief Steve Clark said. She made no effort to help him, and instead gathered her belongings and even gulped a glass of wine before she drew a window blind and left, the video shows.
After police identified Tichelman from the video, they tracked her down in Folsom and lured her back to Santa Cruz County in a prostitution sting at a lavish hotel, police said.
Tichelman was arrested Friday on suspicion of second-degree murder, destruction of evidence and transporting and providing narcotics, police said.
