If you would like to take a test drive of Google Glass you are in luck; a road show is launching from Durham, NC., on October 5th that will allow you to kick the tires so to speak.
Google asks if you wanna try Glass? Damn right you do. Just kidding... but seriously if you do want to, we’re going to start bringing Glass to cities across the US so you can give it a spin. You’ll be able to try on Glass, ask questions and chat with the Glass team in person. We’re kicking off in Durham, NC, on October 5th and we’ll be on the road, heading to other cities after that. Stay tuned here on G+ and we’ll let you know where we’re going next.
According to the Next Web, you can sign up for the event by RSVP here.
The event page features a very short and sweet invite:
"We’ve heard lots of people are interested in experiencing Glass first hand, so we’re taking Glass to cities across the US to give you a chance to do just that.
We’re excited to announce that we’ll be kicking off in the Tar Heel State. Come try Glass, chat with the team, and enjoy local snacks and beverages."

Apart from that, there are just location details as well as Facebook, Google+, Twitter, and email links. Clearly Google is still at the stage of drumming up hype, rather than sharing actual details.
We know you’ll be able to try Glass, but we don’t know for how long. We know anyone can sign up, but we don’t know the signup cut off. We know the event will be eight hours long (from 10am to 6pm) but we don’t know how long you’ll be able to stay.
Oh, and the length of the road trip is unknown as is the number of US cities that Google will be visiting.
