Hoax: Vin Diesel is alive and well

A message is circulating on Facebook that Vin Diesel has died and invites readers to watch a video with more information.
The trick is before you can watch the video you will be prompted to install a plugin to see it. Once done, they try to sell you on SMS subscriptions or get your personal information. You can fill out these surveys all day long because there is no video to see.
Odds are this scam is a play on the death of Paul Walker who starred in 6 Fast & Furious movies with Vin Diesel before his death on November 30th, 2013.
He posted a video just a couple weeks ago:
