HP recalling six million power cords

Hewlett-Packard said on its power cord recall website that it is recalling 6 million laptop power cords that could pose fire and burn hazards.
The cord pulls out of one end of the AC adapter that came with units sold between September 2010 through June 2012. HP is recalling about 5.6 million power cords in the U.S. and 446,000 units in Canada.
Customers are eligible for a replacement at no cost. The power cords are black and can be identified by the tag LS-15, which is on the AC adapter.
Customers can call 1-877- 219-6676, or visit HP’s website for the replacement.
