The karma clock always keeps ticking.
A hunter in British Columbia came across another hunter being mauled by a large grizzly bear, he acted quickly to attempt to thwart the attack and swiftly shot the man.
An air ambulance helicopter was flown in to transport the man to a Calgary hospital. According to CBCnews, the 56-year-old had been mauled by the bear. A STARS ambulance attendant said he was also shot by another hunter who tried to stop the animal from attacking the victim.
Emergency responders say he was in critical condition. However, the B.C. Ministry of the Environment reported his condition as stable and his injuries as non-life threatening. The report doesn't specify which of the injuries were worse nor what happened to the bear.
I am sure the wounded hunter has to be thinking - "if there is a next time, I will take my chances with the bear!"
