Play golf? Need help but don't want to spend a lot of money for lessons? If you have a SmartPhone, SlashGear pointed us to this cool looking product called Golf Sense.

GolfSense can detect the acceleration, velocity, tempo, position and posture of the device and the club by calculating sensor data at sample rates over 1,000 times per second. At the same time, the high velocity motion engine inside the software will divide the swing into different segments of club position and posture. The result is a highly accurate view of your swing down to the millisecond.

When it comes to calculating club head speed, GolfSense is within 3 mph of doppler radar systems such as TrackMan and laser systems such as GolfAchiever.

The GolfSense App is available for iPhone, iPod, iPad and Android mobile devices.

You can search your favorite app store or head to http://www.golfsense.me/ for more details and download links.
