Say hello to a real rocket scientist; Nicholas Harris, 20 of St. Petersburg, Florida.
Apparently he decided to kill a man, who was not named. His ingenious plan was to go all gangster with a BB gun and repeatedly hit the victim. He then proceeded to place the victim in his car and drive home where a witness and his girlfriend watch as he dragged the man inside.
He asked the girlfriend and witness to help him bury the body and they refused. Harris then threatened to kill them with a knife.
That’s right, AFTER he hit the victim with a BB gun and drove the body back to his own house he then decided to make threats with a weapon that could actually do the job.
Well, you’re reading this in Way Off Base so you know what’s next; the victim wasn’t dead, just unconscious. After a few hours, the victim woke. Harris' mother and brother drove the man to the hospital, where doctors treated his broken nose. He also required stitches.
The Tampa Bay Times reports that Harris was taken to the Pinellas County Jail and held on $260,000 bail.
He was charged with first-degree attempted murder and multiple counts of battery, assault, false imprisonment, possessing a firearm as a felon, and burglary making it a grand total of 8 charges.
