Inventist announces the Hovertrax with Kickstarter

Contributed by: Email on 05/01/2013 12:06 PM [ comments Comments ]

Inventist have just announced the Hovertrax, an auto-balancing, electric transporter with gyro technology. Shift body weight to control speed and direction for seamless gliding!

The Hovertrax is a product people can use daily both indoors and out. Weighing only 9lbs, the Hovertrax can easily be stored or carried in a backpack or handbag. Recharge the battery at home or while out on the go, by easily plugging the Hovertrax into a wall outlet for one hour.

They already have the SoloWheel (want) and other devices but this one has very small wheels and will only hit 5 mph making it seem much more like a toy or indoor device (warehouses, for example).

Here is a video showing it in detail:

Technical Specifications:
- Speed: 5MPH
- Travel range: 5 miles
- Charge time: 1 hour
- Gyrosensors
- Accelerometers
- Hub Motor
- Features regenerative braking
- Zero emissions
