According to India Today, ISIS is offering up to $10,000 for India hackers to take on jobs.
The jobs run the gamut from hacking into government databases to siphon off data to assembling lists from Twitter and Facebook accounts of potential recruits.
It has been estimated that 30,000 people in India have been contacted via various underground forums or through internet-based services like Skype.
Several arrests have been made and security agencies have put in place operations to take down pro-ISIS material on the web.
The Indian government has created a "war room" with the intention to monitor social media that may be spreading ISIS messages.
