iTwin Unveiled at CES

Contributed by: Email on 01/11/2012 08:31 AM [ comments Comments ]

iTwin was unveiled yesterday at CES among many other things. However this was the best I saw in remote file access solutions. The iTwin allows for secure remote access to the corresponding computer with the second iTwin device. This allows for encrypted end to end connection with a truly plug and play interface!

iTwin Launches Multi Functionality
iTwin Multi expands secure remote file access solution to workgroups

Las Vegas – January 10, 2012 – iTwin Inc., the company that created iTwin, the world's first 'limitless' secure USB device for remote file access, today announced its new iTwin Multi functionality. This free iTwin upgrade enables users to share files stored on a computer with multiple people at the same time.

With iTwin Multi, multiple users and workgroups can simply and safely connect multiple iTwins to the same computer to remotely access, edit and share files, without the headaches associated with email, VPN, or remote access software. For example, using iTwin Multi, field sales reps can remotely download or upload the latest confidential client contracts and proposals. Similarly, small businesses such as CPA firms can securely share large accounting files and other sensitive data with multiple clients.

"With iTwin Multi, iTwin not only provides file access but also a simple and secure means to share and collaborate. This feature was developed in response to the demands of many of our customers," said Lux Anantharaman, co-founder and CEO of iTwin.

Accessing information while on the go is a must in today's fast paced world. However, technologies like cloud-storage and traditional USB flash drives often lack sufficient security, privacy, or affordable capacity. iTwin is a breakthrough in file access technology that was developed with these factors in mind, yet is really easy to use.

iTwin is the first and only remote file access solution that is truly Plug'N'Play, and that also provides two-factor authentication and end-to-end encryption. Comprising two identical parts, iTwin can be used on any Internet-connected computer running Windows or Mac OS X. Plug one half of iTwin into the computer, drag'n'drop files for remote access and those files can be accessed from any other computer into which the matching half is plugged.
