Kim Dotcom the High Cost of Low Living

As a former genius, hacker, billionaire myself I must give credit where credit is due. Kim Dotcom founder of many shady projects most recently MegaUpload, has been a master of bad marketing since he broke unto the computer scene in the 90's. I'm sure if you’re a regular internet junkie like me you've heard of his latest scandal. Well I'm here to let you know it just keeps getting stranger as there is an inflatable T-72 Russian battle tank sitting in Mr. Dotcom's front yard much to his upscale neighbors chagrin. But the real story today is that Mr. Dotcom was denied bail by a New Zealand Judge yesterday. His argument was that with New Zealand's porous borders someone with Dotcom's resources and criminal connections could apprehend a false passport and leave the country by boat or small plane rather easily. The other factor in the judge’s decision was a Skype conversation obtained by the FBI:

"The judge's decision contained material prepared by the FBI, from a 2007 Skype conversation, where van der Kolk and Ortmann discuss what Dotcom would do if he was caught.

Van der Kolk purportedly wrote: "... if the shit really hits the fan ... would he grab the last little bit of money and take off ... he's good at that."

Sure sounds like a great guy to work for huh?
