Kinect for Windows v2 sensor will start shipping on July 15th.
Microsoft says: The $199 sensor "gives developers more of the precision, responsiveness, and intuitive capabilities they need to develop interactive voice- and gesture-based applications for the Windows desktop and Windows Store."
This latest version has increased depth-sensing capabilities, full 1080p video, improved skeletal tracking, and enhanced infrared technology.
