Can you use that in sentence? Yeah, me either. But spelling 'Knaidel' won 13 year old Arvind Mahankali's The Scripps National Spelling Bee contest and $30,000.

After dropping a "tokonoma" on the competition to move into the lead Master Mahankali sealed the deal by easily handling Knaidel; a word for a type of yiddish dumpling served in soup.



After the competition Arvind announced he would retire "retire" from competitive spelling to devote more time to physics. Kids these days....
