Jess Marlow, AKA Scott Thorson, has made the news a lot lately, especially after the HBO move Behind the Candelabra aired. The book was based on what he claims happened during his time with Liberace. It was actually a very good movie starring Matt Damon as Scott and Michael Douglas as Liberace.

Now he is back in the news, this time while seeking a to be removed from drug court to meet contractual obligations out of state to attend this year’s Emmy Awards and continue medication for past gunshot wounds and anal cancer remission.

On Wednesday, during a revocation hearing to modify the sentence, Washoe District Court Judge Patrick Flanagan ordered the court to drug test Marlow given his status outside of supervision since being voluntarily released from drug court last month, RGJ.com reports.

On Thursday, Marlow tested positive through the court and was arrested, Nevada Parole and Probation said.

Marlow faced up to 20 years in prison.
