Lottery winning Facebook scams appears again today

The old “you won almost a million bucks from Facebook” scam has made it past my filters this morning again.

The people putting this one together aren’t the brightest bulbs in the pack, or I assume they are running multiple scams. The return address shows fbi.gov but Mark himself selected me. In other words, they are probably running a side by side FBI scam at the same time.

Replying naturally goes to some lame Gmail account.

Here is a screenshot of the top half of the email.

We know if you are reading this that odds are you are smarter than that. These people are not targeting you; they are targeting your mother or grandmother depending on your age. We only post these occasional warning because the people they target need to be reminded so that clicking email link scams is a well-known bad idea.
