A Florida man is a mess of trouble for calling in a fake burglary to get the day off from work - still confused as to why the man just didn't call in to work.....but judging by the look on his face in the mugshot it makes sense.
According to The Tampa Tribune, Dwayne Yeager, 31, called the sheriff’s non-emergency line and reported he just came home and discovered his house had been broken into. He also stated that he saw a vehicle speeding away from the residence.
When investigators arrived at the home, they did not find any signs of forced entry. The investigators then turned to neighbors for any information; they learned from a source that Yeager was seen leaving the residence at 6:30 a.m. and returning home at 7:15 a.m. He was seen walking in the front door and lifting the blinds and opening the front bedroom window. Yeager came back outside his home was seen standing in the front yard until deputies arrived, the source said.
Confronted by this evidence, Yeager broke drown and admitted to staging the whole burglry in order to get out of going to work for the day. He told deputies in his statement, that he didn't realize he could get arrested for doing this...wrong, deputies arrested Yeager without incident.
As I see it Yeager succeeded in getting the day off....
