Man in bathtub injured after being hit by car (Video)

A man was taking a relaxing bath inside his Oklahoma City home over the weekend when he was struck by a car that careened out of control; the man had to be extricated from the tub, the driver was uninjured.

According to NewsOn6, Gary Dean Melton, 48, was taking a bath around 2 p.m. Sunday when a car crashed through the home, into the bathroom, before finally coming to a stop in a bedroom.

Emergency crews say Melton had to be extricated from the tub. He was then transported by ambulance to OU Medical Center where he is listed in serious condition.

The 25 year old driver of the vehicle lives in the same neighborhood as Melton and told police that he fell asleep just before hitting the house. The investigation into the crash continues.
