A Vero Beach, FL., man is some trouble after he assembled a fake pipe bomb and left it on the kitchen table for his soon to be ex-wife to find - his reason for leaving the bomb was simple - she pissed me off!
WPBF reports that, Randolph Smith, 51, was arrested on charges of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, planting a hoax bomb and resisting arrest without violence.
Thursday night, deputies received a call from a woman who said her husband left a gray pipe with a
wire protruding from one end on the kitchen counter. There were several hand-written notes on the counter, including one that read, "This is (an) explosive. (It's) a bomb."
Smith's wife told deputies she is in the process of getting a divorce.
Smith was located at nearby Burger King and arrested. During questioning Smith told detectives that he left the hoax bomb on the counter because his wife "pissed him off," he then attempted to walk out of the interview and had to be restrained.
