Marshals to Auction Off Silk Road Bitcoins

U.S. Marshals are going to auction off bitcoins that were seized from Silk Road founder Ross Ulbricht.
The amount of bitcoins seized during the conviction and prosecution of Ulbricht was 44,341.
Anyone wanting to get in on the auction must sign up between Oct. 19 and noon on Nov. 2. The auction will take place on Nov. 5 from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. EST.
The cryptocurrency will be offered in 21 blocks of 2,000 bitcoins and one block of a little more than 2,341 bitcoins.
In May, Ulbricht was sentenced to life in prison and ordered to pay $183,961,921 for his involvement and creation of the Silk Road marketplace.
