Net neutrality defenders have planned a massive online demonstration this week ahead of the FCC's scheduled vote on Net Neutrality.

Some of the ideas seem silly to us, including Facebook and LinkedIn users "breaking" their profiles by changing their relationship status to 'Married' (to net neutrality) or adding a new job of Defending Net Neutrality according to Fight for the Future in a press release.
To be frank, we're 9 hours into Tuesday as this is being written and we haven't really seen anything. Maybe if we went to Reddit, we'd notice but all in all, we think it's a waste of time. Reaching your elected representatives is more efficient than changing your Facebook profile.
And, as with everything political, we think everyone is standing their ground and believe what they believe. We prefer to keep politics off MajorGeeks, but we don't see this "revolt" making a difference.
We'll know how it turns out Thursday.
