Huffington Post is reporting that a driver has confessed in a video posted online that he's to blame for a wrong-way car crash stemming from a night of heavy drinking that killed another man and says he's willing to take "full responsibility."
The 3 1/2-minute video, posted on at least two websites on Tuesday, shows 22-year-old Matthew Cordle describing what led to the accident in which he killed the man three months ago.
"My name is Matthew Cordle, and on June 22nd, 2013, I hit and killed Vincent Canzani," he says somberly. "This video will act as my confession."
I read the facts and here is where I get confused, so help me out. Everyone is praising the kid. in the comment sections that I saw. I am thinking he just used YouTube for his 15 minutes of fame. All he had to do was walk into the police station and confess; at least that’s what I call a man. He was already a suspect. I assume he drove away from the scene of the accident since it happened on June 22nd. You can’t be a coward and then a hero almost 3 months later. It's too late.

Update:
Matthew has turned himself in, physically that is.
