Microsoft is having a "Windows XP Retirement Party"

Microsoft is having a retirement party for Windows XP although you have until April 14, 2014 before support ends. The point of their “party” is more geared towards selling you Windows 8, which we admit isn’t horrible unless you are on a desktop, in which case, not so much as you feel like it was designed for mobile devices. That should all change with Windows 8.1, however. As Paul Thurott points out, it should be a wake instead where we all mourn its demise.
